Gonna work on something over winter break. Got some songs running through my head, gotta record them. Gonna grab AKR to back the track, talk some smack; he’s got the knack, you know. Celestia knows my rhyme-style’s like Seuss and Dickens had a love-child.

Bit of spoilery info: “Sudoku Pie” is written in 9/4, while “Full of Lies” is mostly 5/4 and 7/4. The latter is completely written and merely needs to be arranged and performed. Oh, I almost forgot; there’s a rap-solo. In 5/4. It’s pretty beast. I’ve got a concept bridge/chorus for “Escape,” and a general idea of what I want to do with “On Da Rocks.” All I’ve got for “Hibernate” is the feeling of a soft, musing piano song. Maybe even without lyrics, although then it’s hard to call it an MLP song. Unless I throw in some melodies and progressions from the show’s original songs, in which case it’s all good. I’ll be honest with the last two: no idea whatsoever what to do with “Cultivar” and “Polyptich.” Applejack is my favorite element, but I don’t like country music. Twilight is my favorite of the Mane 6, so I feel almost bad that I don’t know what to do. There are of course two blanks. Don’t know what to do for those at all. Celestia? Luna? CMC? Flim and Flam? I have an attatchment to the cider brothers, so I might take that last idea. Still that leaves a hole. Spike? Zecora? Gilda? Discord? That one other Princess with the heart on her butt? I just don’t know. I just…don’t…know.
